Adam CastroAdam Castro currently serves as the Vice President of Admissions at Mercy College, a private, multi-campus, comprehensive college in New York. His portfolio includes the areas of college admissions, marketing, branding, and analytics, and the Student Services Support Center. Prior to arriving at Mercy, Adam spent nearly fifteen years at Bloomfield College, the last seven as Vice President for Enrollment Management overseeing admissions, marketing, and financial aid. Adam is an active member of numerous organizations including the National Association of College Admission Counselors (NACAC), the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), and NAFSA: Association for International Educators. He is also co-host of Admissions Live, a monthly professional development program on the Higher Ed Live network. A New Jersey resident, Adam received his master’s degree in Public Administration from Kean University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the Rutgers University School of Communication and Library Studies.
Kate Sigety is the Manager of Communications, Content and Social Media at the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). She is responsible for implementing NACAC’s digital media strategy with a specific focus on engagement. Kate earned her master’s degree in PR and corporate communications from Georgetown University and her BA in mass communications from Emory & Henry College.

Kristen Dickerson is a school counselor at Gahanna Lincoln High School in Gahanna, Ohio – a suburb of Columbus. Kristen started her career working in admissions at Ohio Northern University. After eight years on the college side of the desk, Kristen earned her M.Ed. from BGSU and accepted a position at La Salle High School in Cincinnati, Ohio where she remained for two years. Kristen has been active in OACAC and NACAC, most recently chairing the National Professional Development Committee. She has also served as a delegate for Ohio.

Derek DuBose serves as the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at The Ohio State University. In his role he leads Ohio State in their National/Out of State recruitment initiatives, and directly manages their Regional Recruitment Managers based in home offices throughout the Unites States. Prior to returning home to Ohio, Derek spent three years as the Associate Director of Admissions at George Mason University located in the Washington DC, suburb of Fairfax, Virginia; and Assistant Director of Admissions at Miami University. In addition to higher education, Derek has a flair for the performing arts and was a featured dancer in Disney’s Tapestry of Dreams parade and a coach on Paula Abdul’s… Rah! Cheerleading Challenge on MTV.
