The annual AMA Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education is November 4-7 in Orlando. The conference is the premier event in higher ed marketing, with more than 1,200 attendees expected. Headlined by top minds both inside and outside the higher ed community, the event focuses on the latest best practices, trends, and technologies to help marketers make an even bigger impact. Rob Zinkan

Rob Zinkan became vice president at RHB, a higher education marketing consultancy, in 2019. Rob has more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration, serving in senior leadership positions in marketing and advancement. He spent the last 17 years at Indiana University in both campus-level and system-wide roles, including assistant dean for advancement at Indiana University–Purdue University Columbus, vice chancellor for external affairs at Indiana University East, and most recently associate vice president for marketing in a university-wide capacity. Rob holds a doctorate from Creighton University, a master’s from Xavier University, and a bachelor’s from Wabash College. He serves on the CASE Commission on Communications and Marketing, contributes to Inside Higher Ed's Call to Action blog, and is on the conference committee for the AMA Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education.

Tony Poillucci is vice president, creative director, and senior strategist at VisionPoint Marketing, where he does a little bit of everything and is responsible for the ultimate success of VisionPoint’s clients. Prior to joining VisionPoint Marketing, he was president of aHA! Factory, a highly successful consulting, design, and web development firm based in Miami.

His experience and client list run the gamut from the technology sector to nonprofits, and for the past decade, his primary focus has been higher education marketing. Tony has led branding and integrated marketing program engagements for a variety of institutions, and he writes and speaks nationally about all things higher ed marketing.

Brad Bohlander

Brad Bohlander is associate vice chancellor for university communications at NC State and an award-winning marketing communications leader. Brad oversees the university’s brand identity and central communications functions. His team provides leadership, strategy, services, and support to advance NC State’s mission and brand. Prior to joining NC State in 2011, he served as executive director of public relations at Colorado State University.

Brad is a member of the AMA Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education conference committee. He will also present “From Brand to Billions” at the conference on how NC State established a strong brand identity and built on its growing brand awareness to successfully plan and launch the university’s largest ever fundraising campaign
