Higher Ed Live was in attendance last week for the Stamats Integrated Marketing Conference in Chicago, Illinois. The highlight for us – and many attendees – was the TeensTALK Live Panel Discussion. Part of Stamats’ TALK Research Series, the panel featured college-bound students from Chicago-area high schools sounding off on their experience with the recruitment process.
Those in attendance – as well as over 100 people watching virtually via a special Higher Ed Live broadcast – were treated to 90 minutes of real talk regrading recruitment. The students went to town on why marketing materials just don’t resonate, why big ad buys don’t pay off, and why in the end it’s all about the relationships they have with your institution, your admissions staff and your students.
If you missed the special broadcast, check out the below recording. It’s a great chance to get some truly candid feedback right from the source. And while you’re at it, check out the other video of attendees sharing their reactions with Higher Ed Live.
