Rob Zinkan

Rob Zinkan became vice president at RHB, a higher education marketing consultancy, in 2019. Rob has more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration, serving in senior leadership positions in marketing and advancement. He spent the last 17 years at Indiana University in both campus-level and system-wide roles, including assistant dean for advancement at Indiana University–Purdue University Columbus, vice chancellor for external affairs at Indiana University East, and most recently associate vice president for marketing in a university-wide capacity. Rob holds a doctorate from Creighton University, a master’s from Xavier University, and a bachelor’s from Wabash College. He serves on the CASE Commission on Communications and Marketing, contributes to Inside Higher Ed's Call to Action blog, and is on the conference committee for the AMA Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education.

Heather Swain

Heather Swain is vice president for communications and brand strategy at Michigan State University. Heather, who joined the university as assistant vice president for university relations in 2006, served as interim vice president for university relations from 2010 until she was named to the vice presidency in 2012. She previously spent six years at Ball State University and five years at Indiana University.

Heather was co-chair of AMA’s 2016 Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education, and she also serves on the CASE Commission on Communications and Marketing.

 

Christie Harper

Christie Harper is assistant vice president for university marketing at California Lutheran University, where she has served since 2012. She is responsible for defining, building, and enhancing the institution’s brand and leading integrated marketing initiatives for undergraduate and graduate admission, advancement, and athletics.

Previously she was president of Brand Endeavor, an independent brand strategy consulting firm.

Christie was a member of the AMA 2016 Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education Committee.
