Despite some technical difficulties, today was a great episode of Advancement Live featuring the one-and-only Kim Brown (@kimincuse) from Syracuse University’s Career Services Office as well as Alumni Career Services expert, Michael Steelman (@michaelsteelman) from George Washington University Alumni Association. The conversation touched on how technology, Linkedin in particular, has changed approaches to alumni career services industry best practices and our alumni engagement strategies in general.

Show host Ryan Catherwood from the University of Virginia highlighted the brand new UVA Global Network website where alumni, parents and friends can submit content fostering the development of an individual’s unique digital brand on the web as a “thought leader.”
