During this webinar, Heather Eidson will share best practices in producing and distributing quality and internally generated multimedia content to build student engagement and loyalty. Participants will learn to identify key multimedia techniques and social media strategies when marketing to students and learn about changes that new media communication technologies have brought to the media industry.

Heather is the multimedia producer in University Marketing and Communication at Loyola University Chicago. She oversees multimedia for the department. She produces, shoots, and edits numerous photo and video needs to tell the story of Loyola. Heather manages staff, student interns, freelancers and projects, while providing input on creative strategy for production and dissemination of photography and video across multiple channels.
Heather is an award-winning photojournalist. She worked for several years as a staff photographer for newspapers in Chicago, including the Sun Times Media Group. Heather also worked as a freelance photographer and videographer for various non-profit organizations in Chicago.
Heather graduated with an master’s in new media studies from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in photojournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
