How do you build a homepage that serves the competing needs of 64 campuses, millions of prospective and enrolled students and alumni, and more than 100,000 employees? Create two homepages. That’s what SUNY and mStoner did for the nation’s largest comprehensive public system of higher education. Fran Zablocki brings ten years of marketing strategy, project management, and alumni relations experience to mStoner. As a strategist for mStoner, Fran is responsible for leading the overall vision and direction of client solutions.


David Belsky

David Belsky is Director of Marketing & Creative Services at The State University of New York, the nation’s largest comprehensive system of public higher education. He drives integrated marketing and brand strategy for the system, guides message development, and serves as deputy spokesperson for the University and Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher – all focused on strategically telling SUNY’s story to the world.

In this capacity David oversees the Office of New Media which manages the University’s digital presence through the web and social media. He also leads university-wide efforts in advertising, multimedia, video production, emergency communications, and shared governance. In particular, David coordinates the annual State of the University Address, the system’s growing presence at the New York State Fair, and the work of the Communications and External Affairs Committee of the SUNY Board of Trustees.


Taras Kufel

Taras is Web Design and Content Manager in the Office of New Media at The State University of New York. In his position, Taras oversees web content development and activity on and its associated websites, as well as coordinating new material and messaging for output via SUNY’s social media networks. He works with content curators to ensure accessibility of web content, SEO implementation/optimization, and website analytics. Taras holds a B.S in Electronic Media, Arts, and Communications from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has 10 years of experience in multimedia design and web content management.
