After coming to you live on Sunday evenings for over a year, Higher Ed Live is officially moving to a new day and time. Starting this Thursday, Nov. 3, we’ll be broadcasting each and every week on Thursday’s at 4pm ET. Selected in direct response to the viewer surveys you all filled out, we hope this new time-slot provides an opportunity for more folks to tune in and join the conversation. As always, if you can’t make it to a broadcast live we’ll have the archives posted on HigherEdLive.com.

This new broadcast slot is made possible thanks to the very generous invitation from Southern New Hampshire University to bring the show live from the College of Online and Continuing Education facilities. I’m grateful for their support of our efforts, and on a personal level grateful to potentially have two day weekends for the first time in over a year.

We’ll be kicking things off this Thursday with an in-depth conversation about the future of location-based services, and I hope you can make it!

Also, while we’re on the subject of new broadcast times, we’ll be having a special Higher Ed Live episode this Tuesday afternoon. Making up for a past broadcast where we ran into some tech issues, RIT’s Ashley Hennigan will guest host a special episode Tuesday on the social media toolkit for admissions pros. That show will air Tuesday at 4pm ET and her guest will be Marist‘s Director of Social Media Brian Apfel.
